Thread: Could We Lose Login Popup Message, Please

I am sorry to complain but I am so sick of that damn popup message showing every damn time I log in and have to click through it. Sometimes it shows on multiple pages!!

It is time wasting and offensive and I would politely ask the sysop here to turn it off, eliminate or suppress it!!!

What popup message? For the book?

If you're referring to that, it's highly unlikely it will be taken down. It's one of the ways the site is kept free.

However, some testing is underway, and the popup may be adjusted in different ways. No promises, though.

This is the text of the popup --- not even clear that it is the book, rather a link to some article. It seems to pop up multiple times in a site visit, and it hasn't been here most of the time I have been on. As a paid member I find it somewhat annoying to be dealing with this all the time. I recognize the need to keep the site free, I just wish a solution could be found that is not so annoying and invasive.
