Damn. I'm SO sorry that I posted the same thing to Real Experiences three times! (The Stud, the MILF...) I kept getting a php error when I hit submit, and I figured it wasn't posting. So I hit back and tried again. All that time, it actually WAS posting!

    Admin, please delete dupes!

Can you please tell me the specific error you are getting when you get multiple posts - thanks.

I know this really sucks, but I can't. I hit post, saw the error, repeated twice, saw the error twice, and then gave up, thinking I'd try to post later. I didn't pay attention to the exact code. Sorry.

Then I went to the forum and noticed that in spite of the errors, my thread was posted anyway (three times!)

It it helps at all, I'm on an Intel Mac, using Safari.

    Problems With Duplicate Posts

This is actually the second time this has happened. I'll submit a post and get a time out error. I'll go back to the post form and refresh my browser. The fields will come up blank. I'll enter the post again and the submission goes through with out any problems but a double post will show up under recent topics. The only thought I have is in the future if this happens I'll go back to the forums index and make sure I don't see anything before trying to post again.

Please feel free to delete one of the two posts. Thanks Kingbull.

Can you tell me what happens to the best of your memory - does the post take a long time to load and then you get an error, or something else? Do you know the error? Next time, if you get the error, keep the window open and copy and paste the text to a text file to post in this thread so I can weed out the problem.

It isn't a connection "404" type error. It's coming from the phpBB app. (I think that's what your using.) The failed and successful upload times are identical. I'm also running Safari on a Mac.

If it happens again I'll post up a screen shot. Thanks for keeping an eye on this.
